The small group coaching program will have no more than 10 people and will have direct education and support from me.

Many people report that having this type of support where they can not only learn form me but from the other women in the group enhances their knowledge and growth more than 1:1 coaching services.

I have very limited space to provide a few 1:1 coaching services to men and women who prefer this method when my schedule allows.

Girl Strong skill coaching for teen girls is a six week virtual program to give all girls the skills they need recommended by the WHO (World Health Organization).

I am an integrated clinician and most frequently use the clinical framework from above, CBT - Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, IFS - Internal Family Systems Informed and Trauma Informed therapeutic skills.

Hi I’m Bridgitte,

I grew up in Maryland and love living near the water, and having access to Annapolis, Baltimore, and DC.  I am within a few hours of the Atlantic Ocean, the Shenandoah Mountains, and the Blue Ridge mountains. One of my favorite hobbies is photography and I am looking forward to doing a lot more of it. I love learning by listening to books and podcasts as I walk, bike at the gym or do chores around the house. I am passionate about sharing the skills I have learned with as many people as possible so that more people can break out of old patterns of behavior that is not serving them anymore, and develop new skills to reduce stress, experience more calm, feel more work/life balance, and create their personal joy.

I was fortunate to be raised by a strong and resilient mother who taught me those skills, supported me always, and encouraged me all along the way. I continued educating myself by earning my Masters Degree in mental health. I have both worked in all levels of the school system (retired) providing consultation and mental health services and continue to manage a private practice as I have for the past 20+ years. I believe that if the things I teach others everyday were available to more people it would have a significant positive impact on people's lives. 

I am inclusive of all people, have a good listening ear, and will customize and direct knowledge to what I am hearing people need. When I am teaching skills I may go off script at times. I will be empathetic, and supportive but will need to be direct at times to be able to share everything I plan to share with you. I am looking forward to you benefiting from these skills as I have seen many others have.

I believe it is important to keep my private practice and group programs small enough to be able to give the attention and support I know people need. I am very passionate about sharing this with you because I want you to have support and encouragement while learning to make these skills a part of your life’s journey. I want you to feel the benefits of leading a resilient and robust full life.

As someone who has many passions & interests, including my career as a leader in a Biotech company and living around the world, it can be very difficult to find a good balance in my life, and have the discipline to stick to it. Bridgitte has been invaluable in helping me to discover what that balance is and coaching me on skills I can use to make it a reality.

I met Bridgitte when I was living in my third city in three years, overwhelmed with the challenge of excelling in a demanding remote job, while also trying to adjust to a new city (i.e. making friends, dating and feeling somewhat “rooted”.) When we first met, I expressed four priorities in my life – to have a dating life, to travel the world, to move to a big city, and to move to a higher-level job. So far, she has helped me to spot an opportunity to live abroad and given me the courage to do it (3 months in Lisbon!). She has helped me to take the steps toward moving to New York, a city that always intimidated me and now feels like home. I have broken into the dating scene and built flourishing groups of friends, while excelling at work and receiving multiple job offers. Most importantly, she helps me to get through the day-to-day difficulties and self-doubt that comes with all this. I truly did not believe that I would ever get to this place in my life.

 

Bridgitte is very knowledgeable and intimately understands so many pieces of life – the corporate world, expressing one’s art, dating, family issues, mental health etc etc She uses a variety of methods in her practice, all which flow together and really work. She has taught me numerous tools and exercises for making decisions, resolving conflict, and feeling grateful. Above all other things, she shows up for me consistently and is not only firm and reliable, but extremely kind! She is understanding and helps me work our practice into my hectic life. I have never had a therapist or life-coach who holds these traits (and I have had many). The feeling of someone who is really there for me has taken an immense weight off my shoulders, and given me my confidence back.
